The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into the mysterious deaths of two individuals in Wa, the regional capital of the Upper West Region.

According to a statement released by the police, the two unrelated incidents occurred on June 18, 2024 at the Wa East Education Service office and Wa Model Junior High School.

No further details regarding the cause of death or identities of the deceased were disclosed.

The statement reads, "The Ghana Police Service has commenced investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of two persons in the Wa Municipality of the Upper West Region."

The sudden and unexplained nature of the deaths has understandably raised concerns among locals.

However, police are urging citizens to remain calm while detectives work to establish the full circumstances of what transpired.

“We would like to assure the public, especially the residents of Wa, to remain calm as the Police work to get those involved arrested to face justice,” assured the police.
