Sale of SSNIT hotels: We shall surely defeat state capture – Ablakwa

Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu Constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has hinted that another ‘Hands of our Hotels demo’ will be staged in the Central Region.

This according to him, will be part of the nationalistic determination to defeat state capture.

“With this nationalistic determination, State Capture shall surely be defeated. Don’t mess with the power of the people,” Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa warned in a post on Facebook.

In his post, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa revealed that the revered chiefs and good people of the Central Region have called on him for a patriotic partnership to stage the next #HandsOffOurHotels demonstration in the region.

He indicated that this is because the chiefs and people of the Central Region are vehemently opposed to selling Elmina Beach Hotel and Ridge Royal Hotel both in the Central Region to Rock City Hotel Ltd, owned by Agric Minister Bryan Acheampong.

Mr. Ablakwa assured that another massive demonstration would be held in the Central Region if President Akufo-Addo fails to stop the sales of SSNIT hotels within the next few days.
