The head pastor of Believers Worship Center, Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, has expressed his dismay over the backlash he received following actor LilWin's accident, which tragically resulted in the death of 3-year-old Tawiah Ampomah.

Prophet Kyei-Duah addressed the criticism during a sermon, wondering why some individuals called for his arrest after the incident.

He clarified that LilWin had visited his church to give thanks to God after the accident, not to fellowship as some had claimed.

"It became widespread news that he [LilWin] came to my church to thank God, which only served to provoke people further. It has reached a point where, as a man of God, if a church member has an accident, they call for an arrest. Kyei Cudjoe, they said they should come and arrest me," he said.

The prophet also disclosed that LilWin was coughing blood during the movie premiere and might not have survived the night without divine intervention.

"LilWin was compelled to attend his movie premiere, and if not for God's grace, we would have faced serious trouble. He was coughing up blood all night; he could have died without the Lord's intervention," he stated.

Meanwhile, LilWin removed the neck brace he had been wearing since the accident after Prophet Kyei-Duah prayed for him.

LilWin was arrested on Monday, June 3, 2024, in connection with the vehicle accident, which led to the death of a three-year-old boy.

The Asokore Mampong District Court granted him a GH¢50,000 bail with two sureties.

Facing charges of dangerous driving and causing harm through negligence, the case was adjourned from June 27 to July 29, 2024, after the prosecution officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police Emelia Owusu Ansah, informed the court that the docket had been sent to the Attorney General's department for review and advice.
