Unveiling his campaign under the theme, “Victory is Certain,” Captain Smart said he is prepared to leverage his experience and public service credentials to champion the interests of the constituency and serve as an effective advocate for residents in Parliament.
The broadcaster, known for his outspoken views on national issues, is positioning his campaign around a message of development, transparency, and people-centred leadership, promising to work closely with communities to address their most pressing concerns.
His campaign team says the bid is aimed at uniting the constituency around a common vision of progress, improved living standards, and inclusive development.
Captain Smart has also pledged to engage directly with constituents and push for policies that create jobs, improve social services, and expand economic opportunities across Gomoa West.
Campaign materials released by his team align closely with the NDC's broader message of citizen empowerment, carrying the party's slogan, “Power to the People,” while encouraging delegates to support his candidature.
His entry is expected to inject fresh competition into the contest for the party's parliamentary nomination, as aspirants position themselves ahead of the selection process.
