The Independence Day Celebration parade at Charia in the Wa Municipality was graced with a vibrant performance by the musical band of Bomandi Preparatory School, a prominent private institution in Wa.

Comprising talented students of the school, the band led the parade's march past and other displays with remarkable skill and enthusiasm, captivating the audience with their musical prowess.

Alhaji Adamu N.S. Dasana, the School's Proprietor, expressed pride in the students' exceptional performance, attributing it to the school's investment in nurturing their talents. He highlighted the acquisition of musical instruments and professional training provided to the students to enhance their musical abilities.

Although the band had trained for less than a year, Mr. Dasana expressed optimism about their future growth and improvement with continued training.

Originally slated to perform at the Upper West Regional Independence Day Celebration in Lawra, the band's last-minute shift to the Wa Municipal event didn't dampen their spirit, as they delivered a stellar performance.

Mr. Dasana also lauded the establishment of Bomandi Preparatory School's Cadet Corps, emphasizing its significance in instilling discipline and leadership skills in the students. He noted that the school's cadet corps was the first of its kind in the region and benefited from the training provided by the 10 Mechanized Battalion in Wa.

Highlighting the school's commitment to holistic education and skill development, Mr. Dasana encouraged parents to enroll their children in Bomandi Preparatory School for a comprehensive educational experience.

The Independence Day Celebration, commemorating Ghana's liberation from colonial rule, featured the theme "Our Democracy, Our Pride," emphasizing the nation's commitment to democratic values and principles.
