The Ghanaian president, Akufo Addo, had Miss Shalimar Abbiusi, the Belgian Representative for the supposed rising political movement, “New Force,” deported out of fear. The president thinks she was in the country to team up with his enemies to overthrow his government. When someone is a criminal, everything terrifies him, even their own shadow when it is misinterpreted as someone else's. Despite being a tyrant and a man willing to kill for power, Akufo Addo has shown his cowardliness many times.

The president is aware of his failures, and foreign ambassadors, politicians, and Ghanaians alike have acknowledged his rampant corruption and embezzlement, which have brought Ghana's once-booming economy to its knees. However, he is unwilling to lose the 2024 elections and rather wants history to repeat itself, such as the rigging of the 2020 elections. Thus, he views everyone who gets in his way as an enemy as he has publicly stated that he will do everything to hand over power to the inept Bawumia.

Akufo Addo comes to mind when discussing a Ghanaian leader who has abused his position of power, destroyed the nation via pervasive corruption, and continues to violate the constitution and human rights. According to the Ghanaian adage, "Those who decapitate the heads of people fear to sleep," that’s true, suffering from paranoia and fear for his life, Akufo Addo hates and believes that everybody who opposes his corrupt and incompetent government is his enemy.

Miss Shalimar Abbiusi's objectives have alarmed President Nana Akufo Addo since she is a foreigner with an interest in Ghanaian politics.

Miss Shalimar Abbiusi, a Belgian, arrived in Ghana without any issues; however, things took a sharp turn when she revealed to the public that she was the official spokesperson of the newly formed political movement known as "New Force." Scared Akufo Addo, feeling insecure ordered the woman's arrest because he thinks she is the country to overthrow his administration. She was accused of falsifying paperwork for her resident permit application, which led to the revocation of her resident permit.

Miss Shalimar Abbiusi was brought before an Accra court, but many Ghanaians and foreigners, including Belgians, were disturbed by the way she was treated. How can someone who made her intentions known be treated as if she was a terrorist? I don't even think that Aisha Huang, the illegal miner, the Chinese national criminal was handled the way Miss Shalimar Abbiusi was treated. The woman was denied access to see her family and attorneys, and she was eventually made ready for deportation.

Akufo Addo is a man who enjoys taking revenge. His issues include a lack of morality, living a deceitful life, and an unbridled desire for corruption; which have been exposed by the media, including the international news media, Al Jazeera. These issues have plagued him to the point where he hates the mention of the “coup” and distrusts people. After the Belgian government exposed him to money laundering and closed the embassy's accounts there, the president of Ghana has been seeking vengeance for a long time.

As a Belgian, I am aware that the European Union is actively combating money laundering and, as a result, intercepts suspicious influx of money into bank accounts. This is what happened to the Ghana Embassy in Brussels, however, the ING Bank closed the accounts without offering any explanation. Belgian banks, including ING Belgium, KBC Bank, Belfius Bank and Insurance, and BNP Paribas Fortis, united to combat money laundering and have had great success dealing with the problem.

Akufo Addo was astounded by the accounts' closure and terrified, wondering if the Belgian authorities would investigate him. Even though it never happened, the cunning president suspects every foreigner who comes to Ghana on political issues. The woman's swift deportation even proves that actions speak louder than words, but sadly, this fear will not go away anytime soon. Does Miss Shalimar Abbiusi's expulsion have an impact on Belgium or Ghana? To be honest, there is nothing to lose for Belgium.

Ghana possesses cocoa, but it lacks chocolate businesses to employ people and relies on a sustainable economy. In contrast, Belgium, which does not cultivate cocoa plants, is one of the richest countries in Europe for chocolate manufacture, paying the lowest wages to workers in chocolate factories, 1, 600 euros per month. As one of the top nations in the EU, it investigates child abuse in African cocoa-producing regions seriously and continues to strive for improved living conditions for the populace.

Since Ghana is a developing nation and cannot help itself in critical situations, the country must avoid any conflicts with wealthy nations. Relations between Russia and Ghana, were already tense when Akufo Addo accused Vladimir Putin, the Russian president of sending mercenaries to Burkina Faso. Ghana cannot keep fighting the developed world, hence the president needs to exercise caution in how he handles global affairs.
