If real laws are passed in Ghana to hold the NPP administration accountable, Gabby Otchere-Darko shouldn't escape justice. Despite not having a position in the NPP government, Mr. Otchere-Darko has been able to engage in several financial criminal acts that have hurt the nation, thanks to his close relation to the president as a cousin, Otchere-Darko therefore has no respect for Ghanaians, and think he also has the power to commit crime with impunity.

I must be clear that the law under the current administration has failed along with the president because judges were chosen by Akufo Addo solely to serve him and shield him from responsibility. This is one of the reasons why corruption in the NPP government has been worse than in any other government, encouraging politicians to steal and hoard money at home and giving criminals, such as the governor of the Bank of Ghana, Ernest Addison, the authority to call demonstrators hooligans.

The President's cousin, Gabby Otchere-Darko, is not a member of the NPP government, but he has been implicated in a number of corruption scandals that have had a negative impact on the nation and its citizens. Therefore, if a new administration takes office, he must stand trial.

Even though nepotism in positions of power is a worldwide problem, it has particularly wreaked havoc in Ghana. Akufo Addo never stops talking about democracy, yet; his dictatorial government never takes responsibility, and members of his family have inherited the power to potentially reject any resignation requests. A political analyst is not necessary to comprehend that Akufo Addo, Ken Ofori-Atta, and Gabby Otchere-Darko are a group of destructive hyenas rather than actual politicians.

.
As was previously stated, Gabby is not a member of Akufo Addo's administration but has been implicated in several government corruption issues. For example, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu in the Volta region, exposed Gabby, in which his legal company asked the government for GH 187 million for a deal that the NPP initially opposed but then amended while in power. The following are a few scandals concerning Gabby Otchere-Darko as well.

1. The controversial Agyapa Royalties deal involved Gabby's company advising the government as transaction consultants to float shares of Agyapa Royalties Limited on the London Stock Exchange to raise money.

2. A concessionaire contract between the government and Power Distribution Service Ghana Limited (PDS) was canceled due to problems with the financial guarantee. PDS share attempts have been related to names like Philip Ayensu and Gabby.

3. Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko stated that Gabby renegotiated the Ameri deal on his own, without the approval of the government committee, which led to Agyarko's dismissal.

4. The Frimpong-Boateng’s illegal mining report cited Gabby's legal services to a galamsey firm, which allegedly interfered with his employment. The report was written by the former environment minister Prof. Frimpong-Boateng., as a result of some statements made, Gabby filed a defamation lawsuit.

Akufo Addo, Ken Ofori-Atta, Gabby Otchere-Darko, and Mahamudu Bawumia are aware that none of them will be free to enjoy their money, despite the millions of dollars that have been embezzled, as Cecilia Dapaah has demonstrated, if the NPP goes to opposition because the real law in the new administration will deal with them. Since he boasted and discredited John Mahama for running a bad government, Akufo Addo is unhappy with the damage he has inflicted in the worst possible.

Since the president and the NPP politicians rely on tribalism to ensure their support, they were sure to win the Assin North by-elections but the government was shocked by what happened and instead admitting that they had failed and their widespread corruption is responsible for their denial, they rather planned to have the Inspector General of Police George Dampare removed from office because they were expecting him to rig the elections and since he didn’t do that they have to avoid the same experience in 2024. What a nation of political crooks!

In all honesty, the NPP will still lose the election whether Akufo Addo will let all the NPP politicians work with the head of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa, or allow IGP George Dampare to step down or not. This is because, in addition to the harm this administration has caused to the nation's infrastructure, its continued rule will plunge the entire population into even greater poverty than it already is. Corruption is rampant everywhere and even tolerated by the Bank of Ghana. The majority of Ghanaians are fed up with this government that they now hate Akufo Addo more than Mahama they lied against.

Something needs to happen in Ghana before it can advance. Ghanaians must have enough work and enjoy its riches, not by tribal bandits. Every suspected corrupt politician, including Supreme Court judges and Gabby Otchere-Darko, must be pursued by the new administration, and if they are found guilty, they must be imprisoned when all the stolen funds have been recovered. If the newly elected government is not prepared to do that, they shouldn’t even bother to seek for the people's vote.

Aside from the Otchere-Darko corruption scandals, the president has been involved in illegal mining that has devastated Ghana's key rivers and ecologies, leading to ailments like miscarriages and birth defects. It makes no sense that the person who accused the former Ghanaian president of being incompetent and corrupt would turn out to be the worst thief ever identified in Ghana's political history, earning him humiliation for illicit gold trades by the global media outlet Al Jazeera.
