Zebilla: Dr Kingsley Krugu files form to contest NPP parliamentary primaries

Dr Kingsley Krugu has filed his nomination forms in a sober mood to contest the New Patriotic Party parliamentary primaries for Zebilla Constituency in the Upper East Region.

Dr Kingsley Krugu, who on Wednesday 24th July with no drumming, blowing of horns and dispatching of motors walked to present his form to the election committee in the party office in Zebilla.

In the short ceremony, Dr. Kingsley Krugu told the gathering that, his reason not to come with large crowds, motors escorts, drumming and dancing was to honour the late Madam Grace Adongo, wife of the former Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister for Upper East Region Hon Frank Fuseini Adongo whose sudden death occurred last month due to short illness and also the crisis in Bawku.

Dr Kingsley Krugu said the late Madam Grace Adongo was a mother for all and was therefore pained over her demise.

Dr Kingsley Krugu said his comeback was informed and supported by the youth of the constituency who went ahead to buy him the form.

He thanked the youth and the party supporters for the efforts and the trust reposed in him to deliver them from their suffering.

According to him, he is someone who has the constituency at heart and can lobby and deliver development projects to improve the wellbeing of the people.

Dr Kingsley Krugu cautioned aspirants to campaign with humility, share ideas and never indulge in insults which can divide the party.

Dr Kingsley Krugu has initiated a lot of projects in the Zebilla constituency such as Youth Harvest Foundation, Ghana, built Apotdaboogo JHS, Butt-tis Buuri Scholarship, solar plant project, remedial classes for students, supporting students in tertiary schools among others

Dr Kingsley Krugu when elected will face Hon Ebenezer Ndebilla Alumire of the National Democratic Congress in the 2024 general elections.
