CAF Confederation Cup: Mohammed Polo praises Karim Zito's coaching prowess

Ghana football icon, Mohamed Polo, has praised the outstanding performance of Dreams FC head coach, Abdul Karim Zito.

Polo hails Zito's remarkable achievements, highlighting the significant impact he has made.

Dreams FC has reached the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup campaign. The Ghana Premier League team played a hard-fought goalless draw in the first leg of their semifinal game in Cairo.

According to Polo, Zito's efforts have eased some of the pressure on the Ghana Football Association, providing a beacon of hope amidst the challenges faced in the sport.

"I think he has done tremendously well because the expectation brought tension on the FA," he told Citi Sports.

"I have already mentioned that this GFA is the best FA I have ever seen. I have been in the system and been with the FA.

"I have seen different GFA but this is one of them who have come and impacted our football," he added.

Dreams FC is currently in Kumasi preparing for the return leg against Zamalek on Sunday, April 28, at the Baba Yara Stadium, kicking off at 16:00GMT.

Karim Zito, drawing from his experience of winning the 1983 CAF Champions League, will look to guide Dreams to their first CAF Confederation Cup victory.
