Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has pledged to do everything within his power to ensure the Black Stars deliver an impressive performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana, four-time African champions, are preparing for their fifth appearance at the global showpiece, which will be staged across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Despite qualification, the national team has faced criticism in recent months over a series of underwhelming performances.
Speaking on Asempa FM, the Buem Member of Parliament insisted he remains focused on helping the team succeed on the world stage.
“I am doing everything possible to ensure that we do things the right way," Mr Adams said.
"I am not nervous, but I am rather calculated in doing things, and if I am convinced about what I am doing, nothing stops me.
“Pressure will come, but I will not let it consume me as a Sports Minister," he added.
Ghana have been drawn in Group L alongside England, Croatia and Panama.
The Black Stars will open their campaign against Panama on June 17 before taking on England on June 23. They will conclude the group stage with a clash against Croatia on June 27.
As part of preparations for the tournament, Ghana are scheduled to play friendly matches against Mexico later this month and Wales on June 2.
