Former Ghana striker, Asamoah Gyan believes Mohammed Kudus faces a significant decision regarding a potential move to Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad.

Reports suggest that Kudus could earn a substantial $300,000 per week in Saudi Arabia, a significant increase from his current $114,351.30 salary at West Ham United.

Gyan, known for his own controversial move to Al-Ain in the UAE from Sunderland in 2011, commented on Kudus' situation in an interview with Accra-based Asaase Radio.

"If it's true, it would be a very tough decision. I cannot decide for him; it depends on his people," Gyan remarked. He highlighted the business aspect of football, emphasizing the financial considerations that players face alongside their passion for the game.

The former striker also expressed concern over the financial difficulties many Ghanaian footballers encounter after retiring, noting,

"In Ghana here, they only mention my name when the Black Stars are playing. Many players have died after retirement, and it didn't even make news. Those who want to see you play in the EPL are often thinking of their personal interests."

Kudus, who impressed in his debut Premier League season with 14 goals for West Ham and a strong Europa League campaign, has also drawn interest from Liverpool amid his links to Saudi Arabia.
