Shell Ghana, a leading petroleum company, with the largest network of retail stations across the nation has unveiled its newly improved, Shell Diesel with Fuel Economy formula at Airport, in Accra.
The Company is the first petroleum retailer in the country to offer a fuel-efficient diesel product; the new product has replaced the previous Shell Diesel. It is now available at over 900 retail stations of Shell and not at any extra cost to the customer.
John, Helen Taylor and Shell, share a common passion for fuel economy and together with Shell's diesel extra have taken economical driving to a new Guinness World Record for the lowest round for a World Fuel Consumption.
The Shell Diesel with Fuel Economy formula is designed to burn faster than regular diesel, which enhances a more effective combustion in the engine, thus, improving engine efficiency and reducing wear & tear on engine parts.
Tests on the newly improved, Shell Diesel have been stringently conducted by MIRA (Motor Research Industry Association), an independent vehicle testing specialists as well as Shell Ghana itself.
The results indicated that the new Shell Diesel will improve fuel economy in heavy duty engines by protecting the build up of deposits on injectors.
Shell has created the new improved Shell Diesel with Fuel economy formula to fulfill the needs of customers, and also to keep ahead of competitors in the Industry.
“The newly improved Shell Diesel with Fuel Economy formula is the next phase of our mission to help motorists in enhancing their fuel efficiency and also to reduce their transportation costs.”
This new formula Shell Diesel will be welcomed by our Ghanaian motorists, particularly fleet operators, who are concerned about increasing costs. The new product is designed for extra kilometers and will not cost motorists any extra money,” according to a statement by Shell Ghana.
In addition to developing, the newly Improved Shell Diesel with Fuel Economy Formula, Shell has created Fuel saving tips in order to help motorists get extra kilometers out of their Shell fuel.Implementing these tips, in addition to using Shell Fuel Economy formula will greatly help drivers save at least 10% on fuel consumption.
