God's Coming Kingdom Foundation, led by Chairperson Madam Rebecca Kaaley, has generously paid the medical bills for several nursing mothers who were struggling to settle their accounts in Maternity Ward A1 at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.

Founded by Mr. Solomon Abronoma Nyarko, who is based in Holland, the foundation facilitated the donation through its non-governmental organization. The initiative aimed to relieve detained nursing mothers of their financial burdens.

Madam Kaaley highlighted that these nursing mothers and their babies had recovered but could not afford the medical bills, some of which amounted to as much as GH₵75,000.00.

The foundation, which undertakes this philanthropic activity twice a year, has been instrumental in helping many patients, particularly those who delivered via caesarean section or faced complications during childbirth, who struggle with high medical expenses.

"Our mission is to extend a helping hand to those in need," Madam Kaaley explained. "We chose Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi because this is our community. The practice of detaining people in hospitals for non-payment of medical bills is a widespread issue in healthcare facilities across the country."

She emphasized that the foundation's efforts align with its goal to reduce maternal mortality and contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. God's Coming Kingdom Foundation is dedicated to spreading God's love by bringing smiles to the faces of the needy and underprivileged through impactful social interventions and community development programs.

The Principal Nursing Officer in charge of Ward A1, Madam Akparibo Gertrude, expressed her gratitude to the foundation. She also called on corporate institutions and philanthropists to assist other detained patients, noting the troubling number of women unable to leave the hospital due to unpaid bills.

"We appeal to others to follow this example and periodically assist mothers who struggle to pay their medical bills," she said.

Several beneficiary mothers expressed their heartfelt thanks to God's Coming Kingdom Foundation and its founder, Mr. Solomon Abronoma Nyarko, for their generous support.
