Joyce Bawa Mogtari, the spokesperson for the opposition National Democratic Congress' (NDC) presidential campaign, has called on Ghanaians to vote against the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections.

In a social media post on Wednesday, June 19, Joyce Bawa criticized the NPP for having "no message" and relying heavily on "propaganda, lies and disinformation" in their campaign.

She wrote that the "NPP disinformation 'agency' has a devious agenda, considering that the NPP campaign literally has no message."

The former Deputy Transport Minister argued the NPP will ramp up misleading propaganda in the absence of a clear policy agenda or vision for the country.

"They will be relying heavily on an avalanche of propaganda, lies and disinformation," the NDC spokesperson said in her statement on the microblogging site.

She urged Ghanaian voters to reject the "arrogance of power and impunity" of the NPP administration by voting them out of office.

"Kindly vote them out and all the arrogance of power and impunity will stop! Thank you," Mogtari concluded.
