Empowering individuals with disabilities is crucial for fostering an inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential. In line with this, Hon. Afrifa, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Wassa Amenfi West, has made a significant donation to support skill training for specially abled persons in the Wassa Amenfi Municipality.

Persons with disabilities often face barriers to accessing education, employment, and other opportunities. Skill training can play a vital role in equipping them with the skills they need to become self-sufficient and contribute to their communities.

Recognizing the importance of skill training for specially abled persons, Hon. Afrifa donated GHC 5,000 to support their training. The donation was made on Thursday, May 2, 2024, by Mr. Fred Asiedu and the party secretary Mathew Donovan, at the Asankrangwa Durbar Centre. The donation was received by Mr. Fredrick Agyei and Mr. Lawrence on behalf of the specially abled persons in the municipality.

The donation by Hon. Afrifa will enable specially abled persons in the Wassa Amenfi Municipality to acquire various skills, such as tailoring, hairdressing, soap making, and other vocational skills.

The specially abled persons in the Wassa Amenfi Municipality expressed their deep gratitude to Hon. Afrifa for his generous donation. They acknowledged that the donation would make a significant difference in their lives and enable them to achieve their full potential.

Hon. Afrifa's donation to support skill training for specially abled persons is a commendable gesture that demonstrates his commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. The donation will provide valuable opportunities for specially abled persons to acquire new skills, become self-sufficient, and contribute to their community. This initiative is a positive step towards creating a more just and equitable society for all.
