NDC lacks alternative ideas to counter NPP's policy offerings, only talking down the economy — Ahiagbah

The Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Richard Ahiagbah has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) members lacked alternative ideas to revive the deteriorating economy.

According to Mr. Ahiagbah, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in his opinion is engaging in deceit.

On July 7, he said in a tweet that members of the NDC have been talking down the economy.

“The NDC is talking down the economy because they don't have alternative ideas to counter the policy offerings of this government to regenerate the economy. The economy has turned the corner, Ghanaians must stand with the government to stabilize the economy,” Richard Ahiagbah stated.

In an interview on TV3, member of the National Democratic (NDC) legal team Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe said the government's claim that it had turned the corner is false.

“They cannot assume that they are turning the corner, they are two and distinct, the Minister Ken Ofori-Atta said he has that is why I am saying that this NPP government are living in their own reality. Akufo-Addo whilst in opposition told the people of this country together with Bawumia that they are going to move this economy from taxation to production, the record shows that this government has moved from taxation to more taxes, to more taxes and there is no end in sight,” he stated.
