Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has criticised former Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mr Mark Okraku-Mantey, claiming he failed to make the most of his time in office.
Speaking in an interview shared on TikTok, Shatta Wale argued that Okraku-Mantey did little to improve conditions for stakeholders in the creative arts sector despite holding a key government position.
According to the musician, the former deputy minister failed to fulfil promises made to industry players and left no significant impact on the entertainment space.
“Can you see that he didn't do anything while in office? He didn't even benefit from his own position,” Shatta Wale said.
The dancehall star further questioned Okraku-Mantey's understanding of the entertainment industry, despite his long-standing involvement in the sector.
“As far as the industry is concerned, he is the only person who is not intelligent,” he added.
Shatta Wale's latest remarks add to the ongoing public disagreements between the two figures, who have previously clashed over issues relating to the growth and management of Ghana's entertainment industry.
