‘I'm grateful for your support and laughter’ — Amerado on stage mishap at Baidoo Bonsoe SHTS

Ghanaian rapper and singer Amerado has broken silence following the stage mishap during his performance last Saturday at Baidoo Bonsoe Senior High Technical School (SHTS) in the Western Region.

He expressed gratitude to everyone who has supported him and even those who mocked him after the incident.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, April 30, the reigning Ghana Music Awards’ Rapper of the Year further announced the release of the visualizer at 6pm.

“I'm grateful for all the support, prayers, calls, and laughter after my stage mishap at Baidoo Bonsoe SHTS. I'm doing well now.

“FYI: TinTonTan[new song] visualizer drops at 6pm today on my YouTube. Thanks for your ongoing support. On God,” he wrote.

The incident, captured on video, shows Amerado energetically performing on stage before it suddenly gives way, causing him to fall.

The stage was fully packed with students and other artistes waiting to take their turn.

The video captured onlookers frantically searching for the artistes beneath the collapsed stage.

Amerado was reportedly rushed to the hospital after the incident.
