Ghanaian actress Kafui Danku took to social media to express frustration over what she deemed an "exorbitant" GHS1000 braiding fee charged at a salon in East Legon, Accra.
In a post on Thursday, the filmmaker recounted her experience at the braid lounge, describing the stylist as "rude" and providing "the worst service" she had ever encountered.
According to her, the stylist took issue with the fact that her guest did not greet her upon entering.
Despite being willing to pay the GHS1000 fee, the renowned actress was outraged by the experience.
"Who even charges 1000 ghs for common braids! For such charges, service should be top notch," she wrote.
Kafui Danku placed blame for the high prices on the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by President Nana Akufo-Addo, noting, "I blame the NPP government for all this," she stated.
