Award winning Comedian Baba Spirit have said in an exclusive interview with Sokoo Hemaa on ATV’s Anigyekrom show that the GN Bank Award scheme is the most credible award institution in the country and that if not for their recognition he wouldn’t have known what could have happened to his comedy career.
He said it is the only award scheme that has fulfilled all promises made to it winners within a short period of time after the main event. Baba disclosed he have received his Ghc5,000 cash prize promised by the organizers including a two nights rest at the Coconut Groove Hotel in Elmina (Coconut Village)
Rib cracking Baba Spirit on the show also disclose having a crash on three celebrities, mentioning the gospel sensation Gifty Osei, actress and Television host Jocelyn Dumas and Nana Ama Mcbrown. Leaving the host in an uncontrollable laughing state on the show, he revealed he wants to spend his two nights at the Coconut Groove Hotel in Elmina (Coconut Village) with one of these female celebrities but before he can choose who to spend the night with, the three should write him an application letter so the one who’s application letter will be considered will have the chance to spend the two nights with him.
Baba after releasing his “whole sale price” single said he’s looking out for corporate support to embark on his charity programs which he is starting soon with Akropong School for the blind. According to him there are so many things happening at the school that he’s not pleased with but can’t disclose it on TV for now. He alleged the children are starving and when monies are donated to the school, authorities don’t use them for it right purposes. He noted there are other cases he’s taking upon himself to investigate and that if he finds out what he’s hearing is true he will make sure authorities of the school are dealt with and put back on track.
Baba disclosed come 1st October is his birthday and he will be in the school on Sunday to spend his birthday with the School of the Blind in Akropong. He said he will be supported by Oheneba Ntim Barima, OJ and Sikken Band to party and present some few items to the school in what he called “Operation wear your shoe”.
