Cece Winans prays for peace, God's will for Ghana as she readies for Adom Praiz

Adom Praiz 2010, which will feature nearly all the big names in Ghanaian gospel music, is the second in an annual gospel fiesta by Adom 106.3 FM to celebrate God's blessings and honour Him for His faithfulness.

Cece Winans, the American gospel diva and lead artiste for Adom FM's praise and worship concert, Adom Praiz, is all joy as she rounds up her preparation and head for the August 7 big show at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Ever humble, ever grateful, there was grace in her voice as she prayed for God's perfect will, peace and blessings for Ghana in a telephone interview with Abeiku Santana on his Ofie Kwanso programme on Adom FM.

She also prayed for God's control of the programme, expressing gratitude for His love for Ghana and her anxiety to play in Ghana.

Cece Winans in the brief interview answers many of life's questions – why it is a privilege to sing of God's praises, why Jesus deserves our best, why no man should give up in life or give in because God is in control and why the Lord is our only help and should be worshiped in spirit and in truth.

In the interview, Cece Winans also talks about her joys while singing the praises of her maker, her work and life – project with Whitney Houston (Count on me), Alabaster Box, and her latest work Thy Kingdom Come; family, marriage, sin and God's power to overcome all problems.
