The newly appointed principal of St.Louis College of Education in Kumssi has been inducted into office by Most Rev. Thomase Kwaku Mensah, Emeritus Archbishop of Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi at the weekend.

Before her new appointment, Dame(Mrs) Comfort Boakye, was the assistant headmistress in charge of administration of St. Louis Senior High School in Kumasi.

She succeeded late Mrs. Anane Duruyea who passed away some months away.

In his homily, Most Rev. Mensah, entreated the new principal to work hard to uplift the image of Catholic Education in the Country.

He urged the principal to team up with her staff to produce future teachers who could save the country from all forms of social evils which were running the country. He encouraged her to be motivated by the style of old leaders of the church.

He cautioned her not to use her new office to amass property rather to use it to serve the church and the country.

Dame(Mrs.) Boakye thanked the leaders of both the Ghana Education Service and the Catholic Church for honor done her and pledged to work hard to improve the image to the college and also commended those who had been principals of the college before to their good work done during their era.
