As felon Trump struggles on world stage, U.S. melds diplomacy & music in new project at State Dept.

President Biden's State Department is launching the Global Music Diplomacy Initiative, appointing American musicians from across genres as global ambassadors. MSNBC's Ari Melber reports on this bid at cultural diplomacy, from Eisenhauer-era programs with Dizzy Gillespie to contributions from Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Marley, and speaks with two people involved in the new project, the founding member of Public Enemy, rapper and activist Chuck D and head of YouTube Music, Lyor Cohen, former Def Jam President.
