Songs ringed out all night in French nationwide 'music party'

It is one of the loudest and most festive nights in France : Friday was the "Fête de la musique" - "music party". For more than 40 years the nationwide festival has been celebrated on June 21st, coinciding with the official start of summertime. Music professionals play in all areas of France and at all hours.
