NDC communications officer hangs dead in Awutu Senya West

Mr. Kadevi Selasy, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communication Officer for the Awutu Senya West Constituency, was found dead in Nkwadum, a suburb of Awutu Bontrase in the Central Region.

Reports indicate that Mr. Selasy was discovered hanging on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

Earlier that morning, Mr. Selasy had asked his wife to accompany him to the bathroom twice. She agreed the first time but declined the second request, leading Mr. Selasy to go alone.

When he did not return after some time, his worried wife went to look for him and tragically found him dead.

The incident has shocked the community, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
