I feel market women understand better economics than our leaders - Economist

An economist Dr Theo Acheampong says that the GHS1 trillion Gross Domestic Product (GDP) that the Finance Minister mentioned in the 2024 budget in nominal terms, is meaningless in economics.

He says that it appears to show that the managers of the economy do not understand basic macroeconomics.

“I feel that our market women understand better economics than our leaders,” he tweeted.
