Accra, Nov. 18, GNA - About 120 golfers would parade at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra to compete for the maiden MTN Ghana Invitational Championship scheduled for Saturday, November 21.
Mr Kwabena Oteng-Aboagye, General Manager of the Achimota Golf Club told GNA Sports in Accra that the one-day 18-Hole Medal event would be played in accordance with the rules of the Ghana Golf Association.
He said the entry requirement for the Men is Handicap 18 while the Ladies segment would be Handicap 24.
Golfers who have already registered for the competition includes Matthias Dorfe, Mike Ezan, Charles Tabi, Wisdom Asempa, Dan Dennis, Nick Smallman and Daniel List.
The Ladies segment would also see Mona Myles-Lamptey battling Clara Price, Adelaide Owusu-Adjapong, Florence Etwi-Barimah and Grace Afriyie.
Meanwhile the Achimota Golf Club would meet their counterparts, the Ikoyi Golf Club of Nigeria in a two-day international Match-Play competition on the same day at the same venue after the MTN's event.
