Kumasi, Nov. 5, GNA - Kumasi Asante Kotoko settled for a 1-1 drawn game in a friendly
football match against relegated Premier League side, Tema Youth at the Baba Yara Sports
Stadium on Wednesday.
The friendly encounter forms part of Kotoko's coach Paa Kwesi Fabian plan of blending
the new and old players into a formidable team.
It was the former League Club which shot into the lead in the 21st minute through striker
Isaac Amoah.
The striker took advantage of a large swathe of territory that was left unprotected to drive a
powerful shot on the edge of the goal area straight into the net.
Kotoko with their pride hurt, kept surging forward with confined play into the Tema
Youth's half of the pitch, thus forcing the visitors to concede a spot kick, which was expertly
converted by Amoako Agyemang.
Both teams made substitutions in the second half but the score-line remained unchanged
till the final whistle.
