Asante Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed his appreciation for the unwavering support of the fans following their triumphant victory over Legon Cities on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors clinched a commanding 2-0 win against the Royals in their Matchday 29 clash at the Baba Yara Stadium. Goals from Steven Mukwala and Nurudeen Mohammed secured the victory for the Reds, further extending their unbeaten run.

Dr Ogum commended the fans for their positive vibes, highlighting their pivotal role in boosting morale during the game.

He lauded the absence of criticism amidst mistakes, stressing the significance of such encouragement in bolstering the team's confidence.

“Today they came, they sang, they supported us. I didn’t see the ranting when they (the players) made the errors which is good because the more they rant at the players, the more they hoot and boo at the players, the more tense they become when they are playing at Baba Yara," he said after the game.

“So they should keep this spirit for the rest of the five games and I’m sure we will be able to turn things around," he added.
