Ghana midfielder, Thomas Partey, has expressed his confidence in Arsenal's potential to break their English Premier League drought.

The 30-year-old midfielder is poised to return to action for the Gunners in their upcoming showdown against Manchester City, a pivotal clash in the title race.

Arsenal came close to clinching the Premier League crown last season but stumbled in the crucial stages.

However, sitting atop the league table presently, a triumph over City would significantly bolster their prospects of claiming the title this time around.

Reflecting on their ambitions, Partey emphasized the team's strength and resolve, stating, "Last year we did so well and came very close to what we wanted to achieve. This year we have lots of big players and I know we are capable of doing big things."

Despite enduring injury setbacks this season, with just six Premier League appearances to his name, the former Atletico Madrid star is determined to make an impact in the remainder of the campaign.

"It’s been tough for me, being injured for a long time, but now I am ready to give everything I can to the team," Partey affirmed.

Having diligently worked through rehabilitation to regain match fitness, Partey is eager to contribute to Arsenal's success.

"Anything I can add to our level, I will do. I worked hard during my rehab to be able to come back to the level I needed to be at. Now I want to get back with the team," he declared with conviction.
