The 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League continues this weekend with three matches already played ahead of a packed Sunday schedule.

Elmina Sharks locked horns with West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) SC at the Cape Coast Stadium earlier this afternoon and managed to amass the maximum points courtesy of a dying minute equalizer from Samuel Arthur.

As a result, the team has moved to 10th on the Ghana Premier League standings and further away from the relegation zone.

In the other fixture honoured on Saturday afternoon, King Faisal held Ashanti Gold SC to a goalless stalemate at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman as the fight to avoid relegation continues for the Kumasi-based club.

Although there is still a lot of work to do, a run of successive wins can surely do the trick for Alhaji Grusah’s team.

Before today’s matches though, Great Olympics and Ashanti Gold SC played a goalless draw match on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Upcoming matches [Sunday]
Hearts of Oak v Inter Allies
Medeama SC v Legon Cities FC
Eleven Wonders v Liberty Professionals
Dreams FC v Karela United
Berekum Chelsea v Abusua Dwarfs
Bechem United v Aduana Stars
