NEW: Ghana Tourist Villas offers an unforgettable holiday and business experience in Accra.
Nyinahin (Ash), July 2, GNA – Mrs. Theresa Adomako Tawiah, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Aywima-Mponua, has promised to work in close collaboration with stakeholders for the sustainable development of the district.

She therefore appealed to residents of the area and those in the Diaspora to give her the necessary support by complementing the socio-economic efforts of government.

Mrs. Tawiah was speaking at a get-together organized for senior citizens in the district to coincide with the Republic Day Celebration held at Nyinahin in the Ashanti Region.

She advised the people to shun back-biting, hatred, arrogance and always be committed to burying their differences and forge ahead in unity to benefit the district.

The DCE used the occasion to present some relief items worth about GH¢1,000 to one Madam Beatrice Afriyie who recently lost her property worth several thousands of Ghana Cedis when fire gutted her house at Nhyinahin.

The items included two bags of rice, blankets, mattress and building materials, among others.
