GADDAFI DEMISE LESSON TO DESPOTIC LEADERSHIP.

GADDAFI DEMISE LESSON TO DESPOTIC LEADERSHIP.
04 NOV 2011 LISTEN

The war of words and disingenuous language by disciples and anti-Gaddafi's element since his brutal murder had been put to rest; immediately the remains of the late Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi's his son the bearded Motassim and his defense Minister Abu-Bakr Younis Jabr had being laid to rest in unmarked location in the Libyan desert after days were the 69 years of olds body was decomposing; rotten in a makeshift mortuary at an old meat store in the coastal city of Misrata, a situation that may vex some Muslims for whom rapid burial of the dead; is a duty in accordance with Islamic rites or injunctions.

The gruesome end of Kadhafi must be a big lesson for other dictators who want to resist the will of their people in Africa and the Middle East, still in saddle of power. He failed to take a bow after the Tunisia and Egypt had forced their maximum rulers and sit-tight dictators from power in early 2011.

The brutal killing of the former lion of Tripoli was greatly condemned by the international community, which is against the United Nation's rule; prisoners of war are not supposed to be short; more so the cruel leader had been issued an arrest warrant for crimes against humanity by the international criminal courts (ICC) in the Hague, the Netherland; during the brutal suppressing of innocent Libyan's opting for freedom and good governance on the streets. The United States Secretary of State Hilary Rodham Clinton back a proposal that United Nation's investigates Gaddafi's death and National Transitional Council (NTC) look into the circumstances of his death and Britain's defense secretary, Philip Hammond, said a full investigation is necessary. It's certainly not the way we do things, “we would have liked to see Col. Kadhafi's going on trial to answer for his misdeeds”. It is laughable that the former Libyan first lady, Mrs. Safia Gaddafi, had also calls for United Nations probe of her husband death.

While, Zimbabwean Marxist President Robert Gabriel Mugabe, close ally of the slain Libyan leader; angrily blasted the NTC and its western backed allies of the crimes against a sovereign ruler; by interfering in Libya's internal affair and they only intervened because of the crude- oil, the main-stay of the Libyan economy. Zimbabwe during the liberation struggle in Southern Africa for independence from colonial rule, Libya play a crucial role by covertly supported nationalist movement with arms, training, funds and logistic that deservedly gives victory to the guerrillas forces ,term used by the western media.

Lest you forget, This Revolutions began in Tunisia late 2010, as a result of insensitive to Civil rights and later blow up the entire Arab world. The uprising against Gaddafi absolute power erupted in mid-February 2011 and quickly escalated into a civil war that formally ended on Sunday 23rd October, 2011, with declaration of liberation by the new Libyan leaders. The National Transitional Council (NTC); they praised the Revolutionary fighters as true nationalist; against Gaddafi years of one man-rule; saying “The Pharaoh of the time was now history's garbage bin and a future of democracy and positive reconciliation begin' as they gathered in Benghazi the second largest city.

Also the United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon said “This day marks a historic transition for Libya. In the coming days, we will witness scenes of celebration as well as grief for those who lost so much. Now is the time for all Libyans to come together. Libyans can only realize the promises of the future for national unity and reconciliation. Combatants on all sides must lay down their arms to peace. This is the time for healing and rebuilding, for generosity of spirit not for revenge''

Al-Gaddafi captured and death, along with the fall of his home town Sirte, the last regime stronghold, paved the way for the milestone. There is an African saying: That it is a stubborn fly that accompanies the corpse to the grave of the departed.

The international community had demands for an investigation into how the deposed Libyan leader died. National Transitional Council (NTC) sources say he was shot by a 17 years old revolutionary fighter with the dictator's own gold plated revolver;

It's shameful; that Gaddafi one of world's tenacious dictator, who during his four decade of misrule dealt brutally with his political opponents, executing rival; fellow revolutionary's who assist him to seized power in 1969, he saw as threats to his despotic leadership, begged for his dear life; he was willing to offer anything in exchange for his life, money and gold; that is life of a man, wildest dreams to his captors, pity for a coward and disgraceful demotions of the self-styled King of Kings of Africa and the Imam of Muslims; the all powerful revolutionary leader who, keep marauding the entire Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa exporting his radical fundamentalist ideology.

The maximum ruler fails to understand the rule of survival in battle; according to an old adage; he that run away will leaves to fight another day; quitting when the ovation is loud for posterity to judges: honor, dignity and mark of respect. According to Sociological approach''Defeat is not necessary a bad thing, things happen to us in Life to teach us lessons. Learning to accept defeat when we know we can do nothing to change the situation is the best remedy we can offer ourselves. Accept that things are the way they are, and that eventually things will work out for the better, defeat should be looked at as a lesson learned'' but Gaddafi, The Dean of the Arab rulers fail to overcome it .

Overtime, Gadhafi's had joined the list of leaders who have been brutal murder and worst thing there is no honors of war. Namely; his Pan-Arabism kinsman, Saddam Hussein of Iraq, Nicolas Ceausescu of Romanian, Samuel Kanyon Doe and General Ibrahim Bare Minassara of West African states of Liberia and Niger, while others who relinquished power and fled such as former Zaire now renamed Democratic Republic of Congo, Mobutu Sese Seko Kuku Ngbendu wa za Banga ; ''officially translated as 'the all-powerful warrior who, because of his endurance and inflexible will to win, will go from conquest to conquest leaving fire in his wake.'', His Imperial Majesty Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, late Shah of Iran, Henri Konan Bedie of Cote d' Ivorie, Hissene Habre of Chad, Jean Claude Duvalier, fondly called Baby Doe of Haiti, late Ferdinand Marcos of Philippines, Marxist- Leninist Colonel Mengistu Haile Mariam of Ethiopia, Pascal Lisssouba of Republic of Congo-Brazzaville; and Patasse Ange-Felix of the Central African Republic and the late Ugandan tyrant, the Butcher of Kampala, Idi Amin Dada, the self acclaimed conqueror of the British Empire who fled into exile when forces opposed to his brutal regime get closer to the Capital in 1979.etc.

An international Commission of inquiry by the United Nation Human Rights Council has already investigating killings, torture and other crimes in Libya according to Mr. Colville, the UN Human Rights office spokesperson. Said he expected that panel would look into Gaddafi's death. ''It is a fundamental law that people accused of serious crimes should if possible be tried'' ''Summary executions are strictly illegal. It is different if someone is killed in combat''.

Also, African governments, Rights groups such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have urged the National Transitional Council (NTC) to stop immediately targeting and persecuting Blacks Libyans and others blacks which, NTC'S tag as hire mercenaries of the former regime. Warning that such approach will dent the image and credibility.

May the soul of the once fearful progressive, anti-imperialist and Pan-Africanist teach African Despotic leaders that absolute power, brutality and disregard for the good governance will leads to instability?
