
Ghana Grid Company Limited, GRIDCO, will commence planned outages on its Akosombo-Tafo lines in order to raise the height of its transmission lines at Oyoko, near Koforidua.
A statement by the company said the planned outages will begin on Friday November 13 to Monday, November 16.
It will be limited from 7am. – 6pm.
Electricity Company of Ghana will take out service in Korforidua and its envious to facilitate work.
GRIDCO has also requested the Department of Urban Roads to close some roads in Oyoko during the period and provide diversions.
According to the statement GRIDCO finds it very important to carry out this work to prevent any contact with the high voltage lines to prevent accidents on the road.
It therefore apologizes to residents in the municipality for any inconveniences.
