The wife of the Asantehene, Lady Julia Osei Tutu, has reminded Ghanaians of the indispensability of the natural environment especially land, in human survival and sustenance of life.
According to her, land constitutes about 70% percent of the needs of man. Everything possible must therefore be done by society to protect the environment from abuse.
Lady Julia Osei Tutu was addressing school children and other dignitaries in Kumasi to commemorate the 16th annual Royal Environmental and Sanitation Day in Kumasi.
