
Government will soon distribute lifejackets to boat operators along the Volta Lake.
This is to help the operators ensure the safety of passengers.
In an interview with Radio Ghana, the Deputy Minister of Transport Mrs. Dzifa Attivor said the Ghana Maritime Authority and the Ghana Navy will train some youth along the lake to serve as patrol guards to check the activities of the boat operators.
