Nana Nyarko Egyiri, who is suffering from a heart problem known as Tetralogy of Falot, needs six thousand Euros to undergo two separate operations.
Nyarko's plight came to public notice through TV3's initiative of soliciting funds to help her undergo the surgery. Presenting the cheque at the offices of TV3 in Accra yesterday, president of the GCAA ladies Association, Anita Adjei Nmashie said they were touched by the girls plight, hence the donation to help her undergo the surgery. She lauded TV 3's effort for bringing such problems to public notice.

He mentioned that every month, each employees of the Ghana civil Aviation Authority as part of their contribution to help the operations of the Ghana Heart Foundation, will donate a token of their salaries to the foundation every month.
Receiving the cheque, on behalf of TV3, Thomas Adotei Pappoe thanked the group for their kind gesture and called on other organizations and individuals follow suit. Mr. Gabriel Bosompem, Manager - News Production at TV3 hinted that there are piles of such cases before them and thus appealed to corporate institutions to come to their aid.
