Muntaka Mubarak is trying everything possible to play on the emotions of the people. Even though in my opinion he should still be answering questions on why he misused state funds by flying with his girlfriend to Ivory Coast and Germany? He still goes around trying to whip support for his untenable position.
In a recent interview, he claimed there is a plot in the party's hierarchy to break the Northerner influence. Why are the other Northerners not saying the same thing? Also did President Mills not appoint another Northerner to take over the reins of power at the Youth and Sports Ministry? Where is he coming from? I think the NDC has been very supportive of Northerners. During the PNDC era they made certain key Northern appointments which has been very good for the North and Ghana as a whole.
I think he is just acting a bit childish and overly sentimental. He needs to put reason to his actions which can spell doom for his own political career which for me looks to be highly wrecked to say the least.
In these times when the government and nation is grappling with tribal tensions in Bawku and other places, we can not afford to have yet another politically motivated tribal tension anywhere in the Ghana.
Muntaka must eat his humble pie and get on with his life. He can find something to do for now to engage him and put away the bitterness that is making him act with naivety.
Infact, Adim Odoom the principal accountant should be the one complaining for been interdicted as a reward for his anti corruption venture. Muntaka you have had your time and chance and decided to blow it with your girl friend. Please do the humble and gentle thing by keeping your calm and allowing the wounds of the people of Ghana and that of the whistle blower to heal. We can't afford to hear anymore of your Childish talk. Ghana loves it peace and unity.
Thank You.

I just want to find out where in Ghana Muntaka comes from because his name is certainly not Ghanaian, when he spoke on radio he spoke hausa which is not a Ghanaian language. Can somebody tell me where he comes from?
