Warm greetings,
By this, the Face of Ghana organization wishes to formally bring to your attention that plans for the 2009 edition of the mega success story of the Face of Ghana Holland event are in full gear.

This year's edition is billed to take place at the ultra-modern Bijlmer Sports Hall at Anton de Komplein 157 in Amsterdam Southeast come 14th November, 2009. The show guarantees the following highlights;

Showcasing the endowments and achievements of the winners of the Face of Ghana –

Holland 2007 event:
a, Miss Jacqueline Boakye Agyemang – FOG 1st Prize winner.

b. Miss Sandra Agyeman – FOG 2007 1st Runner-up and Reigning Miss Elegance, Ghana

Homecoming Queen Beauty Pageant.
c. Miss Pearl Buadu–FOG 2007 2nd Runner-up and Reining Ghana Homecoming Queen.

The event, with the slogan 'BEAUTY WITH A MISSION', has the following core set objectives;

1. To open door and provide career and educational opportunities not only to the winner, but also to all the contestants.

2. To offer a potent avenue where young women can build themselves up in elegance, poise, confidence, communication and public speaking, physical fitness, self-discipline and more importantly not only serve as role models for their generation but also inspire other peers to make the best out of their circumstances.

3. To encourage active involvement of the contestants and particularly the title-holders in community service, public awareness campaigns and diverse charities both here and in Ghana.

4. To provide positive alternative to the many distractions and destructive activities that lure our young ones into wrong things and choices today.

Our pre-show promotional activities are now on. While we expect to keep you posted regularly on these we request that you listen, meanwhile, to the jingle attached

The event website has also been updated with all necessary information. Please take a look www.faceofghana.com. And one more thing, kindly assist in forwarding the mail (as received) to whom it may concern within your personal network.

Have a blessed day!

They will never teach you something that will benerfit the countrry, but they will always sit to watch you naked and achieve what they want in a very spercial ways, and this our young and beutiful innocent Ghanaian youths will do more to satisfy this white in anyway. Let them be told, they want to see who has the nices buttocks or belly and they will run come show their nakedness to the puplic without thinking of the consiquences. See the tittle, BEAUTY WITH A MISSION, and that will open door and career and educational opportunities to the contesttants!!! Please tell me what BEAUTY has to do with EDUCATION or OPPORTUNITIES? Our African girls here have to have some qualities to have a gateway to opportunities, hence you see the increas in LESBIANS and HOMOSEXUAL in our societies. And as long as we want to conpete to stay abrest with the mordern world, then means, we get rid of our culture and belief, and opening the gate to HELL. A WORD TO A WISE IS ENOUGH:
You are soo Right

I completely agree what everything you wrote. I really don't see point in these beauty pageant. Seriously there is no relation between beauty and education or opportunity. And these girls ought to know! But as you said, this is all the influence of the westocentric society we live. We really need to concentrate on the important things in live: serving God and serving humanity! The money, time and effort that they are using for this event could be invested in something more relevant.I'm praying that my generation will wake up and make it their goal to empower those that have marginalized in this society and elsewhere!
