Dr Kwabena Duffour, Minister of Finance and
Economic Planning, would present the budget statement and economic policy of the government for the year 2009 in Parliament on Thursday, March 5.
Mr Alban Bagbin, Majority Leader, announced this on Friday when he presented the Business Statement for the eighth week, ending Friday,
March 6, 2009.
He said this WAS in accordance with Standing Order number 140 of the House.
The Majority Leader said the House would also adopt the Report of the Committee of Selection on the Composition of the Standing and Select Committees of Parliament on Wednesday, March 4.
