Your security is assured at 2024 Aboakyir Festival celebration — Effutu MCE to patrons

For the first time in the history of the celebration of Aboakyir Festival, celebrants will have the privilege of witnessing live wild animals at a mobile zoo.

The Mobile Zoo experience is an initiative by the Member of Parliament, and the Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the Department of Game and Wildlife.

This was disclosed by the Effutu Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaji Zubairu Kasim, on Osimpam Morning Show, dubbed, "Ghana Nsem", hosted by Okyeame, KoJo Abrantsea.

He indicated that the initiative is to give opportunity to people coming for the Aboakyir celebrants to see such animals for the first time, which on a normal day, would have been difficult.

He assured residents of the security's readiness to protect lives and properties, warning that no individual wishing to disturb the security of the Effutu State would be spared.

He said the security council will deplore both uniform and non-uniform personnel to patrol the streets and residential areas, especially on the outskirts of town, adding, that individuals coming with criminal intentions should think twice.

He warned tricycle riders not to use major roads in town, especially the town road to Winneba junction. He urges them to park at their designated place at the market. He also appealed to drivers not to drive through crowded areas but should park and walk or use other alternative routes.
