Prof. Opoku-Agyemang has been a trailblazer, not only in education but also in setting an example of excellence, integrity, and vision.

Her tenure as Vice-Chancellor at UCC from 2008 to 2012 was marked by significant achievements in developmental projects and educational reforms, which have since propelled the university to become one of the leading institutions in the world. Her leadership was characterized by a proactive approach, hard work, and dedication to excellence.

*A Champion for Gender Balance and Empowerment*

The choice of Prof. Opoku-Agyemang as a running mate is a significant step towards gender balance in Ghanaian politics. We, as UCC alumni, are grateful to John Dramani Mahama and the entire NDC fraternity for recognizing her competence, trustworthiness, and deep respect for others. Her selection is an affirmation of the important role women play in leadership and governance.

Her contributions have had a lasting impact on Ghana's educational landscape.
