The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has requested the use of billboard spaces owned by former presidential and parliamentary aspirants across the country to help boost its campaign for the upcoming 2024 elections.

In a letter dated April 22 and signed by the Party's General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, the NPP said it seeks to temporarily utilize the strategically located billboard spaces of the former aspirants to support the campaigns of its presidential and parliamentary candidates.

"We cannot overstate the significance of visibility as we navigate the critical phase of the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections.

“Your strategically placed billboard locations provide a valuable opportunity to amplify our message and effectively connect with a broader audience," the letter stated.

It further noted that the billboard spaces would help the party connect effectively with Ghanaians and help ensure success in the elections.

"We deeply appreciate your consideration and collaboration in this endeavour, as we collectively strive to ensure the success of our campaign," the letter added.

Ghana will go to the polls for the ninth time since the inception of its 4th Republic in 1992 to elect a new president and members of parliament on December 7, 2024.
