On Tuesday, March 26, 2024, the Ghanaian Cedi's buying rate against the US dollar rose 6 pesewas to GHS12.87, while its selling rate increased 5 pesewas to GHS13.37 compared to Monday.

This is according to figures shared by Cedirates.com, a leading Ghanaian currency and fuel update portal.

At interbank rates, the Cedi is trading at GHS12.84 buying and GHS12.85 selling rates. This is 4 pesewas higher than the previous day.

Leading forex bureaus such as AfriSwap and Albrim are buying at GHS13.35 and GHS13.75 and selling at GHS13.10 and GHS13.60 respectively.

At AfriSwap, the Cedi declined against the US dollar by 5 pesewas in value at the buying rate and by 25 pesewas at the selling rate compared to the previous day. Meanwhile, Albrim maintained its rates.

Other major foreign currencies such as the British Pound Sterling and the Euro are also up compared to previous rates.

On average, the British Pound Sterling is being offered at a buying rate of GHS16.19 and a selling rate of GHS16.96.

The Euro is being traded at a buying rate of 13.86 and a selling rate of 14.56 GHS.

On the Bank of Ghana interbank market, the Pound Sterling is selling at GHS16.25, which is 12 pesewas higher than the previous day. Euro is sold at GHS13.92, which is a 7 pesewas decline in value.
