Can someone please confirm for me and the rest of Ghanaians which award Tinny took home from the Hiphop World Awards? First of all I think the name of the awards should be changed... it is silly and misleading. How can a magazine in Nigeria hold an award for Nigerians and name it a 'world' award? LOL! Anyway, I was watching TV3's Spotlight entertainment review magazine last week when I heard that Tinny had won the award for Best Hiphip Artist. The host, Sammy Forson even went on to embellish the feat saying that Tinny had stayed true to hiphop all these years (obviously he hasn't heard Ringtone) and that finally it had paid off with an award for best hiphop artist in Africa.

First of all, no such category exists in the Hiphop World Awards and secondly, if Tinny won anything it would for the best African act category, which was won previously by Samini. This category was the only non-Nigerian in the lot, so most likely that was what Tinny won.

If anyone out there knows something that the Jaded Renegade doesn't know about this subject; then let me know!!!LOL
