
The notion of this event is to challenge and bring live bands alive.12 bands will be selected though auditions with a minimum of six (6) and a maximum of nine (9) man band. Emphasis will be made on vocal capability, group attitude, synchronizations, stage performance and total band competence. There will be eight eviction shows; live performance to studio audience. Each performance will be interspersed with comments by Judges.
NUMBER OF GROUPS
In all, there will be 12 groups. Selected youth will form groups consisting of not more than six people per group. Each group will be allowed to take their own brand name (eg. (i) Thunder Rhythm (ii) Fire etc.) The twelve (12) band (groups) will in turn be grouped into four (4) sub groups consisting of three (3) bands each. Each week, 3 groups will perform and one (group) band will be evicted/ eliminated / voted out.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The target audience is the youth between the ages 18 years and 30 years while at the same time capturing the attention and imagination of the older folks who will reminiscent the old days of dance band music.
JUDGES
There will be two permanent Judges, Rex Omar and Mac Tonto as well as a guest Judge on the show.

One (1) Copyrighted Song and One (1)Originalcomposition by each group.
TIME ALLOTED TO EACH
10 minutes for each group to perform 2 songs.Judges will have 3 minutes to comment and or ask questions.
SCORE AND VOTING DISTRIBUTION
The sms voting system is 100% to the public whilst the Judges comments will direct voting pattern. Moreover, public voting opens on the first day of their first performance.
EVICTION/ ELIMINATION/ VOTING OUT
One group out of three who will perform each week will be evicted/ eliminated/ voted out of the competition. This will be achieved by judges marks and public vote.
