Afro Music Channel, the first cable television channel specializing in Portuguese-speaking African music has now open up to music from other parts of Africa. As part if this development, Ghanaian musicians now have the opportunity to see their music videos air on the channel which is also showing across Africa on DStv.
The channel is already airing videos of all genres from Ghana. Accordingly, DStv Ghana is working on sending new videos from Ghana to the television network, which is based in Portugal. Therefore Ghanaian artists can submit their videos to the DStv office at no cost.
Afro Music channel screens African music, documentaries, concerts and other music related content with African culture, 24/7. The channel focuses on all the news of the moment; pays tribute to musicians who made history, and bets on new talent. Its programming is directed towards a younger audience, and it has diverse content covering various music genres.
Afro Music can be found on DStv channel 326 and is available on DStv Premium, DStv Compact and DStv Family.
