Comedian Sheddi Baba recently demonstrated his resolve to alleviate the plight of the less privileged in the society. In a charity project tagged Orphans Mix Celebrities (OMC) held on June 28, the multi-talented comedian brought together friends in and out of the entertainment industry to interact and inspire children, who have become orphans and reside at the Nigerian Red Cross Society (Lagos) Orphanage.

In attendance were Alariwo of Africa, Tosin Martins, Doris Braimoh, Tinu Osho, Tessy Gambo, Ufuoma Ejenobor, Chike Onuorah and Juliana Obanife who led the Red Cross team.

Sheddi Baba's parents were also present.

A creative artwork donated to the project by artist, Chike Onuorah, was auctioned as part of the event. The proceeds were donated to the orphanage.

Various Items like bed sheets, pillowcases and others were also given out to the home.

Wife of the Lagos State Governor, Mrs. Abimbola Fashola, Silverbird Chairman, Ben Murray-Bruce and Gbenga Adeyinka were among some of the top personalities that lend one form of support or the other to the project.
