Dear Auntie Betty,
I am 15 and in JHS Two. A boy who lives in my neighbourhood proposed to me but I turned him down.
He always disturbs me whenever he sees me but I have still not given in to his proposal. Now his friends call me by his name.
What can l do?
Mercy,
Accra.
Dear Mercy,
You took the right decision of turning the proposal down. Since the boy’s friends were not around when he proposed to you, you can tell that the boy has told them something and that is why they are making mockery of you to get you to give in.
But let them know that you can see through their trick and will not fall for that. Stand your ground and do not accept the proposal.
You may also do well to ignore his friends and with time they will get tired and stop worrying you. Share Your Thoughts on this article Name Email Location Comments Graphic Ghana may edit your comments and not all comments will be published
