Kwesi Pratt Jnr, the Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, has voiced his disapproval and amazement at the ongoing power outages, commonly referred to as 'dumsor' in Ghana.

His frustration was sparked by remarks made by the Energy Minister, who suggested that the current dumsor situation is far better when compared to what occurred under the previous Mahama administration.

Expressing his shock on the "Good Morning Ghana" show, Pratt questioned the logic of such a comparison.

"I just can't wrap my head around it. It's incredibly difficult to comprehend, especially when you hear from those in authority who are tasked with addressing the issue," he stated.

Pratt further expresses his disbelief, asking, “My goodness, is this where we have come to? That, we voted for a government to come and give us better dumsor?"

He conveyed his disappointment over what he perceived as a lack of accountability from leaders.

He expressed, "How can any dumsor be better? Incredible! But this is how our leaders are talking to us; total disrespect. They are talking to us like we are their grandchildren.”
